What happened

A ballot mix-up in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, may have prevented around 300 voters from receiving their requested mail ballots, the county Election Bureau confirmed. The bureau says a problem with mail ballot label files generated by Pennsylvania's SURE voter registration system earlier in the month is to blame. Election Director Marybeth Kuznik said the bureau will replace any ballot that was requested but not received.1
