What happened
An I-Team review of charging documents found that eight of 12 defendants in Florida's latest voter fraud crackdown are being charged under a voting law that did not exist when they cast their ballots. Among them is Astrid Navarrete Quintana, a legal permanent resident and Fort Myers mother of a 2-year-old who turned herself in on an arrest warrant in August and remains in the Lee County jail.1
