Pennsylvania analysis found flaws in jury list method for finding noncitizen voters
An analysis found that comparing jury rejection lists to voter rolls to identify noncitizen voters produced inaccurate results.
An analysis by Votebeat and Spotlight PA found that comparing jury rejection lists to voter rolls, a method used by conservative activists to identify noncitizen voters in Pennsylvania, produces results riddled with inaccuracies. Scrutiny of 13 potential noncitizen voters flagged in a large Pennsylvania county turned up several individuals who had since naturalized, one U.S.-born citizen swept into the effort, and zero voters who had registered before gaining citizenship. The Republican Committee of Chester County separately sent a letter to county elections officials flagging more than 180 potential noncitizen voters identified through the same method.1
