What happened

A Republican ballot board judge in Tarrant County has been accused of violating the Texas Election Code by scheduling ballot board members in a lopsided manner that favors one party over others. A Secretary of State attorney, Lena Proft, sent an email to Democratic Chair Allison Campolo stating that ballot board representation must be equal across parties and that scheduling should not favor one party. Libertarian board member Elizabeth Miller said she was left off the schedule for most of early voting.1
