What happened

The Lucas County Board of Elections conducted its public logic and accuracy test of voting machines Tuesday ahead of the Nov. 3 general election. Director LaVera Scott said every machine must be tested to confirm calibration and that the full ballot appears for each precinct. Staff verified that screen touches record correctly and that printed ballot cards scan and match selections made on the machine.1

Scott reminded Ohio voters that a photo ID, including a driver's license, state ID, passport or military ID, is required to vote in person.1
