What happened

Mailers from a made-up organization called the Texas Transgender Student Union appeared in Texas voters' mailboxes ahead of the midterms, advising recipients on emancipating from parents and obtaining out-of-state medical care. The flyers mimicked the branding of the Transgender Education Network of Texas. The Transgender Education Network of Texas disavowed the mailings on its website, stating they were not authored, authorized, or distributed by the group.1

The Concho Observer traced the address on the flyers to a UPS Store in Flower Mound, Texas.1
